FALL SEMESTER

CREATING SUSTAINABLE SOCIAL CHANGE

How to Apply

Eligibility

All students with sophomore standing at the beginning of the Fall term and GPA of 2.5 or higher are eligible to apply.

Participating in study abroad does not allow a student any exceptions to meeting Policy 91 requirements. It is the students’ responsibility to understand their college's specific Policy 91 requirements.

Application Process: VT Students

Go to the VT Education Abroad site for the program to complete the application process. Click the "Apply Now" button and follow the instructions.  We will begin to review applications in September.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. This means that the program tends to fill up before Thanksgiving. Submit your application as soon as possible to ensure your spot for acceptance and attendance!

Application Process: Non-VT Students

If you are currently enrolled in a university other than Virginia Tech, please fill out the application form and email it to Marjie Woods at marjiew7@vt.edu.

We will begin to review applications in September. If you are accepted into the program, we will give you further instructions to apply to Virginia Tech as a “non-degree seeking student.” During your time abroad, you will be enrolled in VT courses and pay VT tuition (which may be significantly less than your current tuition if you are a Virginia resident attending an out-of-state or private school).

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. This means that the program tends to fill up before Thanksgiving. Submit your application as soon as possible to ensure your spot for acceptance and attendance!
